My New York

My own little New York was my own perfect world, my true story, where I was truly the person I wanted to be.  Where I could live my life day by day and not have a care in the world. Even though I love where I am now, I will always think back to my New York, I will think about all the wonderful, amazing, care free people I met and all the fantastic memories I created.  It was my own little fairytale and I was the lead role.

I went to all these amazing places, but lets first start with Brooklyn Bridge, the amazing bridge that joins Manhattan and Brooklyn....where two worlds meet.  I remember like it was yesterday - We, us girls, partied our hearts out the night before, and took an early train into the city the next morning, caught the subway downtown...It was a great adventure, spent with such vibrant girls! We walked till we couldn't walk anymore, but it was so worth it, just seeing that view was amazing.  I remember calling my mother just to tell her where I was, and of course to make her jealous! Jen, Kate, Mellissa and I walked to the fields that look over Manhattan, sat on a bench, had the rest of our lunch and just sat, gossiping away, of course I had to sneak in a smoke.  Four South African girls that had never met, enjoying the sites of NYC together, it was a dream!

We spent the whole day exploring Brooklyn, yes and getting lost to the subway to take us back to Grand Central, but hey, it was fun! I still remember walking in a circle, and I looked at the girls, with this OMG expression on my face and then we all just burst into laughter.  We had to hurry because some of us had to work, not me though, I hardly ever worked! So sadly our day was coming to an end, but only our day, that night of course we would be hitting The Cellar Bar for yet another good party.

On the train ride back to Westchester, we were all so tired, mainly Mellissa, she even had a quick power nap before she had to go work. When we arrived at the train station, we all got off the train and departed peacefully knowing that we would all be seeing each other later for another awesome get together.  These girls made my New York magical and so much fun, without them I would of been terribly bored <3 "Click Click"
